Kris Jenner Takes Charge As Khloe & Lamar Move Toward Divorce

A source has told Confidenti@l that a divorce for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom is ‘imminent’ and that Khloe’s mom, Kris Jenner, has taken charge of the situation.

Jenner allegedly had an emergency two-hour meeting with divorce attorney Laura Wasser (who also handled the divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries). It’s alleged that Jenner, along with sisters Kim and Kourtney met with Khloe and encouraged her to dump Odom, stating she needn’t live with a drug addict and their marriage “can’t be saved”. Jenner allegedly feels that Khloe is “too emotional” to deal with the situation as it stands right now.

The source states that Khloe is still in love, doesn’t want a divorce and believes the marriage can work, provided Lamar is clean.

“Lamar’s been heavily into drugs for more than eight months,” a third source reported to the New York Daily News, adding that for TMZ to break a story that serious, the leak had to spring from inside the Kardashian Kompound.

“It’s likely sanctioned by the Kardashians to publicly shame Lamar,” said the source. “They’ve destroyed his career. Now Kris wants him out of the family. Kris wants Khloe to get her prenup money, plus the penalty for cheating,” our source says. “Kim, Kourtney and Kris want her to dump him. You can’t live with a drug addict.”
