Will Tech Win It’s First Boys State Basketball Title Tonight? The Last IPS School To Win The Title Was More Than 30 Years Ago
The Arsenal Tech High School boys basketball team (26-2) will hit the hardwood tonight as they battle it out against Lake Central High School (22-3) for the coveted title of Class 4A Boys Basketball State Champion. The two teams played at the beginning of the year with Tech beating Lake Central 80-61.
According to the Indianapolis Star, the last Indianapolis Public School to win a state championship was Broad Ripple back in 1980.
Tip off begins at 8:15 p.m. at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.
