The Indiana Pacers are encouraging youngsters to read by sharing their favorite children’s books.  Beginning April 7th, your child can “Call A Pacer” on the Indianapolis Public Library’s 24-hour Call-A-Story telephone line. The number to dial locally is 317-275-4444 or toll-free at 877-275-9007. A recorded story from a different team member will be featured each week through the middle of June.

This year’s “Call-a-Pacer” schedule includes:

Week of May 19 – Mark Boyle reads “The Little Red Hen” by Paul Galdone

Week of May 27 – David West reads “The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear” by Don & Audrey Wood
