Black Fact: Dr. Bernard A Harris Became The First Black Astronaut To Go On Spacewalk
On February 9, 1995, Dr. Bernard A Harris Jr. became the first black Astronaut to go on a spacewalk. He was the first to to be part of NASA’s research teams and he was also involved in the construction of the space rovers.
