The jury has reached a verdict! This year won’t be a Happy Birthday for Robin Thicke as he and Pharrell Williams were ordered to pay $7.3 Million to Marvin Gaye’s family. The family argued that the hit song “Blurred Lines” sounded so much like 1977 song “Got To Give It Up” and sued the artists for copyright infringement.
Sources say that “Blurred Lines” made $16.5 million and now Robin and Pharrell “Got To Give It Up” to the Gaye family who will seek their portion of the profits.
