‘Straight Outta Compton’ Receives Additional kudos

“Straight Outta Compton” is still making headlines.  “The Hollywood Reporter” has announced that the N.W.A. biopic directed by F. Gary Gray has become the highest-grossing movie by an African American director — ever.  The film has earned enormous recognition since its August release, and has raked in more than 200-million-dollars at the worldwide box office.  This marks Universal’s seventh film to reach the 200-million-dollar mark worldwide in 2015.
