VP Harris raised $310 million in July, far outpacing Trump

As Vice President Kamala Harris launched her presidential campaign on July 21, her campaign experienced an unprecedented flood of donations. On Friday, her campaign confirmed exactly how much was raised during the month of July.

In a monthly report prepared by the Harris campaign, she garnered $310 million in July, claiming the month as “the best grassroots fundraising month in presidential history.” The campaign said that $200 million alone was raised in the first week after Harris announced her candidacy following President Joe Biden’s exit from the race.

The Harris campaign said that more than 3 million donors made over 4.2 million contributions in July, 94% of them made contributions of under $200.

By comparison, the Biden campaign said it earned $127 million in June and $264 million for all of the second quarter of 2024.
