Irv Gotti’s Team Confirms He Has Suffered A Stroke

According to TMZ, a representative for Irv Gotti has confirmed that he suffered a stroke six months ago. Irv’s representative also denied Wack 100’s claims that the producer is currently using a “walker” to walk, and in a rehab facility. Especially after a photo was shared by TMZ.

Statement from Irv Gotti’s rep:

“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life” confirms the rep.

Irv Gotti has been open about his struggle with diabetes and spoke about being diabetic during his 2023 appearance on the Drink Champs podcast.

He said the disease is “deteriorating” his body, and that he’s been diagnosed for “forever.” Listen below:

He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Murder Inc. Records, a prominent hip-hop and R&B record label.
