Tupac murder suspect faces new charge after Las Vegas jail incident
Duane “Keffe D” Davis, accused of orchestrating Tupac Shakur’s murder, faces a new charge of battery by a prisoner following an incident at the Clark County Detention Center. Davis, 61, has been in custody since September 2023 and was set to appear in court on the new charge with a bail of $50,000. The judge in the murder case declined to dismiss Davis’ charges, and his trial was scheduled to begin in March. Davis has publicly admitted to being in the car involved in the 1996 shooting near the Las Vegas Strip that resulted in Shakur’s death.
