Ryan Coogler has confirmed that his next project will be a reboot of The X-Files. The director, known for his work on the Black Panther franchise and Sinners, discussed the upcoming reboot on a recent podcast. Coogler revealed that he is excited to work on the new version of the beloved sci-fi drama series and hinted at potentially bringing back Gillian Anderson’s character, Scully. The original X-Files series, which debuted in 1993, followed FBI agents Mulder and Scully as they investigated supernatural occurrences and alien-related conspiracy theories.
