Suge Knight to Pay $1.5 Million for Running Over and Killing Friend

Former Death Row Records head Suge Knight has reportedly settled a wrongful death lawsuit with the family of Terry Carter for $1.5 million. Carter was killed in 2015 after being run over by Suge in his car during a dispute on the set of Straight Outta Compton. Suge decided to settle to show respect for Carter and his family, stating that the incident was not intentional. Carter’s widow and daughters will each receive $500,000 from the settlement. Suge is currently serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter in connection with Carter’s death.
