Janet Jackson to Receive ICON Award & Perform at 2025 American Music Awards
Janet Jackson will be honored with the ICON Award at the 2025 American Music Awards, where she will also perform live for the first time since 2018. The award recognizes artists with significant cultural and global influence in the music industry. Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the show will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on May 26. Jackson, a music icon with numerous accolades, will kick off her Las Vegas residency and is known for her chart-topping hits and groundbreaking achievements in the music industry. The AMAs will also feature special tributes to U.S. troops and veterans in partnership with the Easy Day Foundation.
