Daniel's Vineyard Winery Asking Community for Support
Daniel’s Vineyard Winery Asking Community for Support

MCCORDSVILLE, Ind. — A debate is brewing in McCordsville over the future of outdoor concerts at Daniel’s Family Vineyard & Winery.
Since 2017, the winery has been a popular spot for live music and have grown into cherished traditions for the entire community, but a new town ordinance restricting outdoor events is now causing concern; limiting the winery to only 8 events per year. The vineyard claims they were unaware of change beforehand, and it threatens their ability to operate and support over 100 part-time jobs. Their summer concert series is vital to their revenue stream and helps keeps doors open.
Owners of Daniel’s are now asking the public to step in. They are encouraging supporters of the concert series to contact their local council members in McCordsville to voice their concern.
“We’re asking our community to stand with us—not just for Daniel’s, but for what kind of town McCordsville can become. A town that supports small businesses. A town that values culture, connection, and local experiences.” says the vineyard in a social media post from today.
