In it’s 75 year history, the American Ballet Theatre finally name Misty Copeland as the first black female principal dancer. Copeland, 32, first played the role of Odette/Odile in Swan Lake and now she will be getting settled into her new promotion as ABT’s Principal Dancer. SOURCE
